Machining workshop

At Emipec, we carry out lathe operations as varied as: turning shafts to size, facing, conical machining, contour machining and specific shapes (such as radii or seger locating rings), chamfering of corners, the parting off of parts, the drilling of holes or the boring of bearing fits to tolerances, etc. 

The milling machine is one of the most basic and main machines in the machining process. With it, facing, squaring, drilling, boring and all kinds of operations imaginable in 3 dimensions are achieved. 

Certain parts need to be actuated by means of keyways or splines that facilitate this work. These operations are not always easy to perform, but at Emipec, we have specific machinery for machining those parts that require it.

The knurling is a machining operation that is carried out on parts that need to facilitate the manual action of the operators to ensure that they do not slip in the hands. We machine knurling in different shapes and patterns, you just have to choose the one you like best. 

The threads are the key element to achieve fixing between pieces, there are a wide variety of threads, which are not always easy to find commercially. For this reason, upon request, we machine threads, whether commercial or special, metric, withworth, trapezoidal or even in the opposite direction. 

For special spare parts, with gears that are no longer commercially available, or for parts that require it, such as speed reducer shafts, we have gear cutting by means of chip removal within the module system, for the toothing process. with indexing plate and disc module milling cutter. 

The machining of parts in series, lowers costs and operator time, at Emipec, we carry out short series of machined parts that meet the demands of our customers with reliability and quality.
